Michael Mauer (Vice President Style Porsche)

Michael Mauer has been responsible for the design of many current Porsche models - not only the Macan line but also other major models.

The switch to electric powertrain in the Macan posed new design challenges (battery placement, aerodynamics, proportions), and Mauer’s team worked to retain the classic Porsche DNA (the “flyline,” sporty proportions, recognizable design cues) while adapting to the needs of an EV.
