Design

The main people behind the 2022 Audi e-tron GT’s design are Audi’s Head of Design Marc Lichte and exterior designer Parys Cybulski. The interior design was led by Markus Däsch.

Luxury, tech-focused interior

Inside, the e-tron GT feels like a high-end sports lounge, with a driver-focused “cockpit” layout and premium materials throughout. A 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit display and 10.1-inch MMI touch screen are angled toward the driver, giving an immersive, high-tech feel without being cluttered.

Electric performance

With dual electric motors and Audi’s electric quattro all-wheel drive, the 2022 e-tron GT delivers around 522 hp, instant torque and a 0–60 mph time of about 3.9 seconds, giving sports-car acceleration with smooth, silent power. A sophisticated two-speed transmission and adaptive air suspension provide both strong straight-line performance and refined long-distance comfort.

Range and everyday usability

The 2022 e-tron GT offers an EPA-estimated range of about 238 miles on a full charge, making it easy to use as a primary daily vehicle. Fast-charging capability and intelligent route planning with built-in navigation help make longer trips simple and stress-free.

Matrix LED headlights (Laser)

The “laser” in the front of a 2022 Audi e-tron GT is part of the optional Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light. It is not a visible laser beam, but a special high-beam module designed to extend visibility at higher speeds.

The laser light gives a brighter, longer and more focused view of the road ahead on dark highways, helping the driver see further without needing aftermarket lights. It works together with the Matrix LED system, which selectively shades parts of the beam so it can light up the road without dazzling oncoming traffic.

Comfort and safety features

As a true four-door grand tourer, the e-tron GT provides comfortable seating for up to five, with supportive sport seats and generous legroom up front. Available driver-assistance features can include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, night vision, and remote parking assist.
